RESOLUTION NO. 3630 BY Mr. Gottermeyer <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RE~0LUTION authorizing the Mayor,.as Director of <br />Public Works~ to advertise for bids for a washing machine for the <br />laundry at L~kewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> WHEREASj it has been deemed necessary to purchase a new wash- <br />ing machine for the laundry at the Hospital, due to inability to ob- <br />tain parts for the existing machinej and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~n emergency exists in order to provide for the im- <br />mediate preservatmon of the public property, health and safety and <br />to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br />now~ therefore~ <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for a washing <br />machine for the laundry at Lakewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br />bers elected to. Council, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: March 31. 1955 <br /> <br />Approved: April 1, 19~5 <br /> <br />Wm.
