RESOLUTION NO. 3684 BY: Mr. Gottermeyer <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION approving the appointment of Mr. <br />Douglas Gorton, as a member of the Board of Trustees of Lakewood <br />Hospital, for the six year term beginning January l, 1956. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate <br />preservation of the public property, health and safety and to <br />provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1, That the appointment of Mr. Douglas Gorton, <br />as a member of the Board of Trustees of Lakewood Hospital, for <br />the six year term beginning January l, 1956, be and is hereby <br />approved in accordance with the provisiions of Article 19, <br />Section i of the Charter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, and is approved by the <br />Mayor, it shall take effect January l, 1956. <br /> <br />Adopted: March 19, 1956 <br /> <br />Approved: March 20. 1956 <br /> <br />Thomas C.
