RESOLUTION NO. 3686 BY Mr. Fahrenbach <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Safety to advertise for bids for the purchase of seven 12 volt <br />two-way mobile radios for the Police Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been appropriated for the purchase of <br />this equipment, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that this purchase be made at as <br />early a date as possible, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the im- <br />mediate preservation of the Public property, health and safety and <br />for the usual daily eperatiQR of a municipal department, now, there- <br />fore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1, That the Mayor, as Director of Public Safety, be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for <br />the purchase of seven 12 volt two-way mobile radios for the Police <br />Department. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: April 16, 1956.. <br /> <br />Thomas C.
