RESOLUTION NO. 3688 BY Mr. Quinn <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION declaring it necessary and conducive <br />t9 the publi? health,.safety and welfare to construct a storm and san- <br />i~ary sewer xn Elbur Avenue, from Nadison Avenue to Detroit Avenue, <br />and performing all necessary work incidental thereto. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that the present sewer exist- <br />ing in Elbur Avenue is of insufficient capacity to perform the required <br />service to the area tributary to it, and <br /> <br /> I~HEREAS, bonds have been sold to provide funds for the improve? <br />ment .of the sewer system, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY T~E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That it is deemed necessary to construct a storm <br />and sanitary sewer in Elbur Avenue, from Madison Avenue to Detroit <br />Avenue, and to perform all necessary additional work incidental thereto, <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the plans, specifications, estimates and pro- <br />files for the said construction, prepared by the Engineering Depart- <br />ment of the City of Lakewood, be and the same are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the entire cost and expense of the said con- <br />struction shall be paid from funds secured from the sale of bonds for <br />Sewer Reconstruction. <br /> <br /> Section $. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effec~ ~mmediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />April 16, 19~6 <br /> <br />Thomas C.
