RESOLUTION NO. 3722 BY Mr. Fairgrieve <br /> <br /> AN E~ERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director <br />of Public Works, to advertise for bids for the purchase of a new <br />truck for the Parking Meter Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been appropriated for the purchase of a <br />new truck for the Parking Meter Department, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that this truck be purchased at as <br />early a date as possible, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the <br />immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety <br />and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of a new truck for the Parking Meter Department. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and he in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />July 16,, ~956 <br /> <br />Thomas C.
