RESOLUTION NO. 3723 BY Mr. Gottermeyer <br /> <br /> AN E~ERGENCY HESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director <br />of Public Works, to advertise for bids for the reconstruction of <br />the breakwater at Lakewood Park. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the condition of the existing breakwater at Lake- <br />wood Park is such that if not reconstructed without delay, a portion <br />of the park land will be lost, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the <br />immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety <br />and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal de- <br />partment, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the recon- <br />struction of the existing breakwater at Lakewood Park. <br /> <br />be¸ <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />July 16, 1956 <br /> <br />Thomas C.
