RESOLUTION NO. 3747 BY Mr. Chockley <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Works, to advertise for bids for the removal or razing of the <br />one car garage at the rear of 15625 Detroit Avenue; Dwelling and one <br />car garage at 1417 Westwood Avenue; Three family dwelling at 1406-8- <br />l0 Lakeland Avenue; Two family dwelling and two car garage at 1638 <br />Ridgewood Avenue; Four car garage next south of 1638 Rmdgewood Avenue; <br />Approximately 20 feet of the north end of the three car brick garage <br />at the rear of 12500 Madison Avenue. <br /> <br /> ~k~HEREAS, the properties at the addresses specified in the pre- <br />amble hereof have been acquired in connection with the off-street <br />parking improvement program and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, work on this improvement should be started with as <br />little delay as possible and, <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, it is necessary to remove, either by moving or razing <br />the buildings on these properties and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate pre- <br />servation of the public property, health and safety and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, there- <br />for, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for <br />the removal or razing of the one car garage at the rear of 15625 <br />Detroit Avenue; Dwelling and one car garage at 1417 Westwood Avenue; <br />Three family dwelling at 1406-8-10 Lakeland Avenue; Two family dwelling <br />and two car garage at 1638 Ridgewood Ayenue; Four car garage next <br />south of 1638 Rmdgewood Avenue; Approxmmately 20 feet of the north end <br />of the three car brick garage at the rear of 12500 Madison Avenue. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That in advertising for bids the advertisement <br />provide for both the removal of the buildings from the premises or <br />the razing of said buildings and removing all material and debris <br />from the premises. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: October l, 1956 <br /> <br />Approved:..October 2, 1956. <br /> <br />Thomas C.
