RESOLUTION NO. 3750 BY: Messrs. Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, Gaydos, Gottermeyer, Quinn, Ward, Chockley. A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, to advertise for bids for furnishing 6", 8, and 12" gate valves, as required, for the installation of water mains in Warren Road, Elmwood Avenue and Grace Avenue. WHEREAS, Council has, by Resolution No. 3734, declared the necessity of issming water main bends ef the City of Lakewood for the purpose of improving the water distribution system by installing mains and the necessary valves, hydrants and other appurtenances in- cidental and necessary thereto, and WHEREAS, The Council, by Ordinance No. 76-56, provided for the issuance ef bonds ef the City ef Lakewood to provide a fund for the purpose of improving the water distribution system by installing mains and the necessary valves, hydrants and other appurtenances ctdental and necessary thereto, and WHEREAS, It may be to the advantage ef the City of Lakewood to furnish the materials for the construction of the said water mains, new, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for furnishing 6", 8" and 12" gate valves, as required, for the installa- tion of water mains in Warren Road, Elmwood Avenue and Grace Avenue, all in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineering Department, which are hereby approved.
