RESOLUTION NO. 3751 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Fairgrieve, Gaydos, <br />~ottermeyer, Quinn, Ward, <br />Chockley. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director <br />of Public Safety, to advertise for bids for the purchase of from <br />325 to 350 parking meters. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that this Council declares <br />it necessary to install parking meters on the parking lots, which <br />are now being improved for that purpose, and to install additional <br />parking meters on-street, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for rheim- <br />mediate preservation of the Public property, health and safety and <br />for the Usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, there- <br /> <br />fore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the ~ayor, as Director of Public Safety be <br />and he is hereby authorized toadvertise for bids for the purchase <br />of from 325 to 350 parking meters, in accordance with specifications <br />now on file in the office of the Director of Public Safety, which <br />specifications are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declsred to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the MayOr. <br /> <br />Adopted~ NovembeM. 5. 1956 <br /> <br />Approved:...November 6,,,,1~6, <br /> <br />Thomas C.
