RESOLUTION NO. 3798 BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Fairgrieve, Gaydos, <br />Gottermeyer, Quinn, <br />Ward, Chockley, <br />Fahrenbach. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Works, to advertise for bids for the purchase of gasoline for the <br />various departments of the City, for a period of one year beginning <br />September 16, 1957. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the immedi- <br />ate preservation of the public property, health and safety and to pro- <br />vide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, there- <br />fore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY 'THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of gaso- <br />line, for the various departments of the City, for a period of one year, <br />beginning September 16, 1957, in accordance with specifications submitted <br />by the Director of Public Works, which are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons.stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: June 17, 1957 <br /> <br />Approved:..
