RESOLUTION NO. 3811 BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Gottermeyer, Ward, <br />Chockley, Fahrenbach, <br />Fairgrieve, Gaydos. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION requesting the Director of Finance to certify to <br />this Council the maximum maturity of bonds in the amount of one million <br />seven hundred fifty thousand dollars proposed to be issued as herein- <br />after provided for the construction of a fireproof municipal depart- <br />ments and administration building, and his estimate of the life of <br />permanent improvements proposed to be constructed and acquired from <br />the proceeds of said bonds. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council contemplates submitting to the electors <br />of the City of Lakewood the question of issuing the bonds more partic- <br />ularly hereinafter described in Section 1 hereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sections 133.21 and 133.2~ of the Revised Code provide <br />that before any resolution, ordinance, or other measure providing for <br />the issuance of bonds is passed or adopted, the fiscal officer shall <br />certify to the bond-issuing authority the maximum maturity of such <br />bonds calculated in accordance with the provisions of Section 133.20 of <br />the Revised Code including the weighted average of the amounts proposed <br />to be expended for the several classes of the improvements and, also, <br />that the fiscal officer shall certify the estimated life of the asset, <br />property, construction or permanent improvements proposed to be acquired, <br />constructed, improved, extended, or enlarged from the proceeds of said <br />bonds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of the <br />City of Lakewood, as defined in Section i33.01 of the Revised Code, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, <br />requested to certify to this Council the maximum maturity of bonds in <br />the amount of one million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars, from <br />the proceeds whereof it is proposed~to construct a fireproof municipal <br />departments and administration building. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
