RESOLUTION NO. 3813 BY: Messrs. Chocktey, Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, Gaydos, Gottermeyer, Ward. A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, to advertise for bids for the construction of a fireproof public swim- ming pool and service building in Madison Park. WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution No. 3726 and related legisla- tion subsequently adopted, the question of the issuance of bonds in the amount of $250,000.00 for the Purpose of construction of a fire- proof public swimming pool and service building, and for the purchase of furniture, furnishings and apparatus for such swimming pool, was submitted to the electors for approval; and WHEREAS, Sufficient affirmative votes were cast in favor of the issuance of such bonds; and WHEREAS, Pursuant to Ordinance No. 46-56, said bonds were is- sued and sold, and a contract for the drawing ef the plans and specifi- cations was entered into with John F. Ltpaj, Architect, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Mayor, as Direotor of Publie Works, be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the coustruction of a fireproof public swimming pool and service building in Madison Park in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by said arch- itect employed by the City, which plans and specifications have been heretofore and are hereby approved. Section 2. That the advertisement for said bids shall provide for and request that bids for the construction of said fireproof public swimming pool and service building in Madison Park shall be in accord- ance with said plans and specifications; shall state that the City may accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof. Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. Adopted: July 15. 1957 Approved: July 16, 1957 Thomas C.
