RESOLUTION NO. 3857 BY: Messrs. Fairgrieve, Gaydos, Gottermeyer, Lawther, Ward, Chockley, Fahrenbach. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION declaring it necessary and con- ducive to the public health, safety and welfare to construct a storm and sanitary relief sewer in Cook Avenue, from Detroit Avenue to Clifton Blvd. and performing all necessary work incidental there- to. WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that the present sewer ex- isting in Cook Avenue is of insufficient capacity to perform the required service to the area tributary to it, and WHEREAS, bonds have been sold to provide funds for the improvement of the sewer system, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That it is deemed necessary to construct a storm and sanitary relief sewer in Cook Avenue, from Detroit Avenue to Clifton Blvd. and to perform all necessary additional work in- cidental thereto. ~ Section 2. That the plans, specifications, estimates and profiles for the said construction, prepared by the Engineering Department of the City of Lakewood, be and the same are hereby approved. Section 3. That the entire cost and expense of the said construction shall be paid from funds secured from the sale of bonds for Sewer Reconstruction. Section 5. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Nayor.
