RESOLUTION NO. 3~57 BY: Messrs. Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, <br /> Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br /> Lawther, Ward, Chockley. <br />A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, to ad- <br />vertise for bids for the construction of a municipal departments and <br />administration building in Memorial Park. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution NCo 3~12 and related legisla- <br />tion subsequently adopted, the question of the issuance of bonds in <br />the amount of $1,750,000.OO, for the purpose of constructing a munici- <br />pal departments and administration building in Memorial Park, was sub- <br />mitred to the electors for approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sufficien~ affirmative votes were cast in favor of <br />the issuance of such bonds, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pursuant to Ordinance No. 83-57, said bonds were is- <br />sued and sold, and a contracZ for the drawing of the plans and speci- <br />fications was entered into with Garfield, Harris, Schafer, Flynn and <br />Williams, Architects, now, therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, As Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the construction <br />of a municipal departments and administration building in Memorial <br />Park in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by said <br />architects employed by the City, which plans and specifications have <br />been heretofore and are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the advertisement for said bids shall provide <br />for andrequest that bids for the construction of said municipal de- <br />partments and administration building in Memorial Park shall be in <br />accordance with said plans and specifications; shall state that the <br />City may accept any bid or reject all bids or parts thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 3, That this resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted:.March 2~,..19~8.. <br /> <br />Approved: March <br /> <br />Thomas C.
