RESOLUTION NO. 3858 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br />Lawther, Ward, <br />Chockley, Fahrenbach. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of Public <br />Safety, to advertise for bids for the purchase of seven 1958 four <br />door sedans of heavy duty construction, in compliance with speci- <br />fications, and the sale of six 1957 Ford Fordor sedans, equipped <br />with police interceptor motors, now in service in the Police <br />Department. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Safety, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise forbids for the purchase <br />of seven 1958 four door sedans of heavy duty construction, in com- <br />pliance with specifications, and the sale of six 1957 Ford Fordor <br />sedans, equipped with police interceptor motors, now in service in <br />the POlice Department. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The amount bid for the six used cars to be sold <br />by the city shall be deducted from the price bid for the seven new <br />cars to be purchased by the city and the net price qmoted. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be <br />in force upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor and at the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: April 7, 1958 <br /> <br />Thomas C.
