RESOLUTION NO. 392& <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Gaydos, Gottermeyer,. <br />Lawther, Ward, Chockley, <br />Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing theMayor, 9s Director' of Public' <br />Works, to advertise for bids for the concessmon of operating refresh- <br />ment stands in Lakewood Park and Madison Park for the period begin- <br />ning May 15, 1959 and ending October 31, 1959. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayer, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized~to advertise for bids for the concession <br />of operating refreshment stands in Lakewood Park and Madison Park in <br />the City of Lakewood, for the period beginning May 15, 1959 and <br />ending October 31, 195~. ~The advertisement shall include statements <br />to the effect that separate bide are required as to each of the three <br />stands at the Parks; that the successful bi~der shall furnish a <br />public liability policy in the amount of five thousand dollars for <br />each Park in which he may be awarded the contract, and a performance <br />bond in the amot~ut of one thousand dollars for each park in which he <br />may be awarded the contract, each in favor of the City of Lakewood <br />and in terms satisfactory to the Director of Public Works; that the <br />City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any parts there- <br />of, waive any statements or omission of statements in the bids as <br />may be determined by the Council to be informalities, and to accept <br />the bid or bids or any parts thereof as may be determined by Council <br />to be most favorable to the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:.March 2, 1959 <br /> <br />,,Thomas..?.
