RESOLUTION NO. 3930 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Chockley, Fahrenbach, <br />Fairgrieve, Gaydos, <br />G~ttermeyer, Lawther, <br />Ward. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION designating the week beginning May 1 and ending <br />M~y 7, 1959 as Lakewood Correct Posture Week. <br /> <br /> , WHEREAS, The National Chiropractic Association is an organi- <br />zation devoted to personal advancement and high ethical standards, <br />a~d <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Such association has a local chapter, which local <br />~apter desires to remind the citizens of our community that long <br /> ife and sound health demand correct posture, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, None of us can quarrel with the purpose or with the <br />~es~lts of the national campaign that has been heretofore conducted <br />ds a public service program of the members of this association, and <br /> ~ WHEREAS, As a result of the association's advocacy of correct <br />~osture particularly in?ur l?ea~l.s~?ho~l sy?~ems,_~he <br />~ur school systems' stuGents is nigh aoove ~ne naDlonaz average, and <br /> ~EREAS, This council feels that a pablic designation of <br /> ~orrect Pos~mre Week will make a significant contribution te the <br /> Health and welfare of our community, now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C0~CIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> 0HI0: <br /> Section 1.
