RESOLUTION NO. 3961 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Lawther, Ward, Williamson, Chockley, Gaydos, ~ottermeyer. A RESOLUTION requesting the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood an advance of taxes collected for the year 1959 in such amounts as may be requested and available. WHEREAS, Section 321.3~ of the Revised Code provides that when local authorities by resolution so request, the County Auditor shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay on such draft to township clerks, treasurers of municipal corporations, the clerk of any board of education, and the treasurer of any other political subdivision or taxing district whose funds derived From taxes or other sources are payable by law to the County Treasurer, any money that may be in the county treasury to the.accounts of such local authorities; and WHEREAS, It will be necessary for the City of Lakewood to obtain an advance of taxes prior to the regular tax settlement for the year 1959 now~ therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be re- quested to draw and theTreasurer of Cuyahoga County be requeStedto pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1959 in such amount as may be requested by him and which are available. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect and be in force upon its passage and approval by the Mayor and at the earliest period allowed by law.
