Gaydes, Gettermeyer, <br /> Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Ward, Williamsen, <br /> Chcckley. <br /> <br /> mN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authoriziDg the Mayer, as Director ef <br />Public Works, te advertise for bids for the purchase ef one Jeep for <br />the Division of Parks and Public Grounds. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, IR order te avail the Division ef Parks and Public <br />Grounds of modern, efficient and up-to-date equipment, it is necessary <br />te authorize the purchase of one Jeep, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is necessary that the purchase be made at as <br />early a date as possible, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists in that the said purchase is for <br />the inmmediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and <br />safety, and in that it provides for the usmal daily operation of a <br />municipal department~ new, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayer, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of one new Jeep. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this reselmtien is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote ef two-thirds of all mem- <br />bers elected to Oouncil, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: May 16~ <br /> <br />Approved: May 17, 1960 <br /> <br />Wilson Chockley, Jr. <br /> President <br /> <br />P.
