RESOLUTION NO. ~000 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Lawther, Ward, <br /> Williamsen, Chockley, <br /> Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br /> Huffman. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Works, to advertise for bids for the purchase of one power <br />roller for the Division of Parks and Public Grounds. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, In order to avail the Division of Parks and Public <br />Grounds of modern, efficient and up-to-date equipment, it is neces- <br />sary to authorize the purchase of one power roller, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The said purchase should be made at as early a date <br />as possible, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists in that the same provides for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and <br />safety, and in that this resolution provides for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of <br />one power roller. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency meas~e for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br />bers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: May 16, 1960 <br /> <br />F.
