Lawther, Ward, <br /> Williamson, Chockley, <br /> Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br /> Huffman. <br /> <br /> AN E~IERGENCY REEOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Safety, to advertise for bids for the p~chase of l~l feet of <br />lC' chain link fence with a four-foot gate for Andrews Park tennis <br />courts and 590 feet of 10' chain link fence with 4 four-foot gates for <br />Lakewood Park. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the daily <br />operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO,OIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF CHI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as Director of Public Safety be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the above de- <br />scribed fence and gate or gates as specified in the preamble hereof. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency meas~e for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br />bers elected $o Council, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: May 16, 1960 <br /> <br />F.
