Section 8. That the Clerk of this Council be~ and he is hereby, <br />directed to transmit to the State Highway Director a certified copy of <br />these resolutions. <br /> <br /> Section 9. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure by reason of the need for expediting construction of <br />projeot to promote highway safety, and provided it receives the affirm- <br />ative vote of two-thirds of the members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor~ otherwise~ it shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: August 8, 1960 <br /> <br />Wilson Chockley, Jr. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved~..
