RESOLUTION NO. 4082 <br /> <br />Messrs. Chockley, Gottermeyer, <br /> Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Williamson. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUT~O~ muChoriz~n9 and directing the Director <br />~£ ~u~l{c Works to enter into a contract, after approval by Council, <br />for the installation of storm and sanitary sewers in Forest Road <br />from Lake Road to Clifton Road. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed with the <br />improvement set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Existing storm and sanitary sawers in Forest Road <br />from Lake Road to Clifton Road are not adequate to serve the <br />residents in said area, and, <br /> <br /> 'WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health and <br />safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department7 <br />~ow, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the <br />improvement of Forest Road from Lake Road to Clifton Road by the <br />installation of storm and sanitary sewers with the lowest and best <br />bidder after advertisement according to law and only after approval <br />of such contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thimds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ..
