Chockley, Gaydos~ <br /> RES~LUTIONNO. 4086 BY: Gottermeyer, Huffman, <br /> Lawther, Ward, <br /> Willlamson. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessar) <br />requirements of salt for the period November l, 1961 to March. 31, 1962. <br /> <br /> 'WHEREAS, In order to provide safety for vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic during the winter months, it is necessary to <br />purchase salt, and, <br /> <br /> '~EREAS, This resolution consitutms an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of ~he public <br />health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary requirements of salt for the period <br />Nove~er 1, 1961 to March 31, 1962, for the Department of Public <br />Works, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according <br />to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
