Chockley, Gaydos, <br /> Gottermeyer, Huffman, <br /> Lawther, Ward. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION appointing a member to the Lake- <br />wood City Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> ~r~IEREAS, On September 30, 1961, James F. Irwin, a member <br />of the Lakewood City Planning Commission appointed by the Council <br />to serve a term expiring on December 31, 1963, submitted his <br />resignation as such member, and, <br /> <br /> %FHEREAS, Pursuant to the provisions of Article XV, Sec- <br />tion 1 of the Charter of the City of Lakewood, it is necessary <br />for this Council to appoint a member of the City Planning Con=aission <br />to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Irwin, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, property, safety and welfare and for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOoD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Richard L. McNelly be and he is hereby <br />appointed as a member of the Lakewood City Planning Commission to <br />serve a term of office expiring on December 31, 1963, being the <br />unexpired term of former member, James F. Irwin. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this re~otut~on is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmati-]e vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it sh~ll take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:....November 6~ 1961 <br /> <br /> ....
