Ward~ Williamson, <br /> Chockley, Gaydos~ <br /> Huff~an, Lawther~ <br /> <br /> AN EM-ERGENCYRESOLUTiON authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of the necessary street repair materials <br />for the year 1962. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an energency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the Public property <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> SectiOn 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of the necessary street repair <br />materials for the year 1962, in accordance with the list of <br />such materials on file in the office of the Director of Public <br />Works with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertising <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamblehereof <br />and, provided it receives the affirmative Vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption a nd approval by the Mayor~ <br /> <br />AdOpted:., De~¢ember 4~ 196], <br /> F.
