RESOLUTION NO.~108 BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Lawther, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Williamson. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION adopting rules of order of the <br />Council of the City of Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Article III, Section 5 of the Charter pro~ <br />Vides that Council shall determine its Own rules and order <br />of business, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists, in that, in order to <br />comply with the provisions of the Charter and to provide the <br />Rules of Order for the present Council, it is necessary to <br />act forthwith, and in that this resolution provides for the <br />public welfare and the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department, therefore, be it <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Sections 121.02 to 121.15, both in- <br />clusive, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, <br />Ohio~ are hereby adopted as the Rules and Order of Business <br />of this Council. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the <br />preamble hereof, and provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council~ it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Adopted: januarY. 2~ 1962 <br /> <br />Robert M.
