RESOLUTION NO. 4111 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Usher, Ward, Wendling, <br /> Wi!liamson. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal <br />and interest on special assessments levied on permanent parcel <br />number 515-7-50 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's Records and author- <br />izing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessments for the <br />year 1962 and subsequent years. <br /> <br /> WHER~S, the.City has special assessments charged against <br />the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance <br />No. 51-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on <br />June 20, 1960, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered pay- <br />ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessments <br />levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 57!9.16 <br />of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF ~{E CITY OF LAK~4OOD, <br />STATE OF 0HI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the <br />sum of $72.98 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for <br />the year 1962 and subsequent years of special assessments charged <br />against the property described as permanent parcel number 515-7-50 <br />on the Auditor's Records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under <br />Ordinance No. 51-60~ adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on June 20, 1960. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessments as hereinbefore <br />set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, <br />and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized <br />to cancel said special assessments for the year 1962 and subsequent <br />years levied under Ordinance No. 51-60, adopted by the Council of <br />the City of Lakewood on June 20, 1960 on permanent parcel number <br />515-7-50 on the County Auditor's Records and further described as <br />being sublot number 35 in the E. Nicholson's Grace Ave. Allotment, <br />each annual assessment being in the amount of $18.24. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby <br />Authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolu- <br />tion to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said <br />special assessments cancelled. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
