RESOLUTION NO. ~ B~: ~t, <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Finance to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the publishing of legal advertising for a period of one <br />year commencing May 1, 1962. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the <br />public property, safety and welfare and for the ~usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, ~therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the publishing of legal advertising for a <br />period of one year commencing May 1, 1962 with the lowest <br />and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is decl~red~to..be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all me,~bers elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:... <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
