AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTXON authorizing and directing the <br />Director o~ Public ~orks to enter into a concession agre~en~ <br />for the operation o~ a refreshment and ice skating accessory s~and <br />at the ~interhurst-Lakewood ~unicipal Skating Rink for a per~od of <br />one (~) year. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Directorof Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a concession <br />agreement for the operation of a refreshment and ice skating accessory <br />stand at the Winterhurst-Lakewood Municipal Skating Rink with the <br />highest and best bidder for a period of one (1) year, after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared! to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor~. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~Dem~ ~5~ <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br /> Acting Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
