RESOLUTION NO. 4183 BY: Messrs. Williamson~ Gaydos, <br /> Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of the necessary requirements Of valves and <br />pipe fittings for the year 1963 for use in the Division of <br />Water. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the inuuediate preservation of the public property <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works he,and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves <br />and pipe fittings for the year 1963 for use in the Division of <br />Water, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertise-~, <br />ment according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this res~lutiQn is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all mer~bers elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and ~pprovalby <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: Nov,ember 19, 1962 <br /> <br />Robert M.
