RESOLUTION NO. ~ BY: ~-~ ~a,e~,~ v~,~,~ AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing ec%ing~th~ Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessments levied on permanent parcel number 313-~l-ll on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditorm to cancel said special assess- ments for the years 1963 and 196~. WHEREAS, the City has special assessments charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ord- inance No. 35-58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 7, 1958, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered pay- ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- ments levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio~ and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- merit; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF 0HIO: Section io That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $36.92 tendered in payment of the principal and inter- est for the years 1963 and 1964 of special assessments charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 313-21-11 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 35-58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 7, 1958. Section 2. That said special assessments as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section i hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby author- ized to cancel said special assessments for the yeam 1963 and 1964 levied under Ordinance No. 35-58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 7, 1958 on permanent parcel number 313-21-11 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being sublot number 79 in the Mathews & Gilbert Subdivision #2~ each annual assessment being in the amount of $18.46. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this res- olution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessments cancelled. Eection ~. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble here- of and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
