RESOLUTION NO. 497 BY: ~$~, ~~# G~O~, <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION requesting the Audito~Uyahoga County <br />to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the <br />Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood an advance of <br />taxes collected for the year 1962 in such amounts as may be <br />requested and available. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 391.34 of the Revised Code provides <br />that when local authorities by resolution so request, the <br />County Auditor shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay <br />on such draft to township clerks, treasurers of municipal <br />corporations, the Clerk of any board of education, and the <br />treasurer of any other political subdivision or taxing dis- <br />tric~ whose funds derived from 5axes or other sources are <br />payable by law to the County Treasurer, any money that ma~ be <br />in the county 5reasury ~o the accounts of such local author- <br />ities; and <br /> <br /> WREREAS, It will be necessary for the City of Lakewood <br />to obtain an advance of 5axes prior to the regular tax settle- <br />ment for the year 196~, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be <br />requested to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be re- <br />quested to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood, State of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1969 <br />in such amount as may be requested by him and which are avail- <br />able. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
