The Mayor forthwith upon receiving the <br />approved supplemental agreement, if the same is approved by <br />the Law Director, shall execute said supplemental agreement on <br />behalf of the City of Lakewood. Xn the event that such agree- <br />ment is not approved by the Law Di~ector, or if, for any reason, <br />the Mayor shall fail er refuse to execute said agreement, he is <br />hereby instructed forthwith to notify the Council, in writing, of <br />such fact and of the reasons therefor. <br /> <br /> Section 4o This resolution is hereDy declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons that the immediate <br />execution of said supplemental agreement is necessary to main- <br />tain uninterrupted taxicab operation in the City of Lakewood, <br />and that it involves the customary and usual daily operations of <br />a city department. <br /> <br />Adopted: ,March 4, 1963 <br /> <br />Robert M.
