RESOLUTION NO. 4215 ET: Messrs. Lawther, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Williamson, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for <br />the purchasa of one new truck (cab and chassis only), suitable <br />for mounting an existing dump body, and one small panel truck, <br />for the Division of Water, Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> BE{DREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of <br />the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the purchase of one new truck (cab and chassis <br />only), suitable for mounting an existing dump body, and one <br />small panel truck, and for the sale of one dump truck cab and <br />chassis, and one pick-up truck, as trade-in on such new vehicles, <br />with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: April 1~ 1963 <br /> <br />Robert M.
