Wendling, Williamson~ <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Lawther. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authoriZing the Director of <br /> Public Works to enter into a COntract or contracts for the purchase <br /> of one new dump truck, one new pick-up truck and one new Jeep, for <br /> the Division of Parks and Public Grounds, Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the <br />public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />STATE OF OHIO: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of one new dump truck, one new pick-up <br />truck and one new Jeep, and for the sale of one 1955 Chevrolet flat- <br />bed truck, used, and one 1955 Ford pick-up truck, used, as trade-ins <br />on such new vehicles, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders <br />after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> ~/ 'Clerk <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
