SUBSTITUTE <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NOo 4248 BY: Messrs. Williamson, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Usher~ Ward, <br /> Wendling. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of <br />Public Safety to enter into a contract for the air-conditioning <br />of Lakewood Fire Department buildings located at 1418 Warren <br />Road, 1420 Hopkins Avenue and 18124 Detroit Avenue° <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the <br />public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Safety be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />for the air-conditioning of Lakewood Fire Department buildings <br />located at 1418 Warren Road, 1420 Hopkins Avenue and 18124 Detroit <br />Avenue, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2o This resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: June 3, 1963 <br /> <br />Robert..M, Lawther <br /> President <br /> <br />Philip M.
