RESOLUTION NO. $262 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Williamson, Huffman, <br /> Lawther, Usher, <br /> Wendling. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION accepting a Federal Sewage <br />Works Grant in the amount of six hundred thousand dollars <br />($600,000°00)° <br /> <br /> %~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the offer of a Federal Sewage <br />Works Grant in the amount of six hundred thousand dollars <br />($600,000°00) as offered by the Department of Health, Education <br />and Welfare in their letter dated August 6, 1963, and referenced <br />'~WPC-Ohio-200", and signed by the Acting Regional Health Director, <br />is hereby accepted. <br /> <br /> Section 2~ That the Council of the City of Lake- <br />wood, in accepting said offer, hereby agrees to the conditions <br />and the assurances contained in the Offer and Acceptance of <br />Federal Grant for Sewage Treatment Works under 33 UoSoCo 466, eto <br />Seqo, Part A. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />execute,on behalf of the City of Lakewood, any necessary forms <br />incident to the acceptance of such a grant. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: August 16~ 1965 <br /> Robert M.
