Huffman, Lawther, <br /> RESO~UTiON NO. 4270 BY: Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Williamson, <br /> Gaydos. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESO~Tt0~? au~ho~?i~i~g and directing the Finance <br />Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and inter- <br />est on special assessment levied on permanent parcel NCo 314-17-17 <br />on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's~records and authorizing the County <br />Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1963, 1964, <br />1965 and 1966o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the <br />property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 58-61~ <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood onJune 5, 1961, and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment <br />of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment <br />levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719o16 <br />of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio~ and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily' operation of a municipal department~ <br />now, the~.fore~ <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF 0HIO~ <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept <br />the sum of $~$9o~0 t~ndered in payment of the principal and interest <br />for the years 1963 ohrough 1966 of special assessment charged ... <br />against the property described as permanent parcel No. 314-17-17 <br />on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County~ Ohio~ and levied under <br />Ordinance No. 58-61~ adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on June 5~ 1961~ <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set <br />forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof~ and <br />the Auditor of Cuyahoga Count~ be and he is hereby authorized to <br />cancel said special assessment for the years 1963 through 1966 <br />levied under Ordinance No. 58~61~ adopted by the Council of the <br />City of Lakewood on June 5~ 1961 on permanent parcel No. 31~-17-17 <br />on the County Auditor's records and further described as being <br />Sublot No. 62 in the Arthur Heights Subdivision No~ 2~ each annual <br />assessment being in the amount of $12o30. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- <br />lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having <br />said special assessment canceled° <br /> <br /> Section ~o That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preambl? hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thmrds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted~ September ~ 1963 <br /> <br />Robert <br /> <br />Lawther <br /> President <br /> <br /> Philip M, Dearborn <br />Approved September 5, 1963 Clerk <br /> <br />Frank P.
