Usher, Ward, <br /> RESOL~TiON NO. 4272 BY: Wend!lng, Williamson, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Lawther. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance <br />Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and inter- <br />est on special assessment levied on permanent parcel No. 311-22-9 <br />on the Cuyahoga County Anditor's records and authorizing the County <br />Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1964 and <br />1965o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the <br />property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 53-60, <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20~ 1960~ <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,.The owner of the said property has tendered payment <br />of the principal portion and interest on the spacial assessment <br />levied on sa~d parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 <br />of the Revised Code of the State of 0hio~ and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department~ <br />now~ therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />L kewoom be a~e ms hereby authormzed and dmrected to accept the <br />sum of $~8~dered in payment of the principal and interest <br />for the years 1964 and 1965 of special assessment charged against <br />the property described as permanent parcel No. 311-22-9 on the <br />Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County~ 0hio, and levied under Ordi- <br />nance No. 53-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on June 20~ 1960. <br /> <br /> Section 2, That said special assessment as hereinbefore <br />set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, <br />and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized <br />to cancel said special assessment for the years 1964 and 1965 <br />levied under Ordinance No° 53-60, adopted by the Council of the <br />City of Lakewood on June 20, 1960 on permanent parcel No. 311-22-9 <br />on the County Auditor's records and further described as being <br />Sublet No. 91 in the Northwood Park Subdivision, ea%h annual <br />assessment being in the amount of $22.48. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- <br />lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having <br />said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4~ That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: September 3, 1963 <br /> <br />Robert M.
