Messrs. Usher, Ward, RESOL~TiON NO. 4272 BY: Wend!lng, Williamson, Gaydos, Huffman, Lawther. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and inter- est on special assessment levied on permanent parcel No. 311-22-9 on the Cuyahoga County Anditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1964 and 1965o WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 53-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20~ 1960~ and, WHEREAS,.The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the spacial assessment levied on sa~d parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of 0hio~ and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department~ now~ therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO~ Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of L kewoom be a~e ms hereby authormzed and dmrected to accept the sum of $~8~dered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1964 and 1965 of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel No. 311-22-9 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County~ 0hio, and levied under Ordi- nance No. 53-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20~ 1960. Section 2, That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1964 and 1965 levied under Ordinance No° 53-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20, 1960 on permanent parcel No. 311-22-9 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being Sublet No. 91 in the Northwood Park Subdivision, ea%h annual assessment being in the amount of $22.48. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4~ That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
