RESOLUTION N0.4277 BY:Messrs. Lawther, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Williamson~ Gaydos <br /> Huffman. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION appointing two members of the <br />Council as Trustees of the Police Relief & Pension Fund. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pursuant to the Revised Code of the State of <br />Ohio, it is necessary for the Council to appoint two of its <br />members to serve as Trustees of the Police Relief and Pension <br />Fund commencing the second Monday in September for a period of <br />one year, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency meas- <br />ure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property and for the usual daily operation of a municipal de- <br />partment; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1o That two members of this Council, to wit: <br /> <br />Charles S. Huffman, Jr. <br />Thomas C. Ward <br /> <br />be and they are hereby appointed as Trustees of the Police <br />Relief and Pension Fund for the term beginning September 9,1963~ <br />to perform the duties required by law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: September 16, 1963 <br /> <br />Robert M.
