Lawther, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Williamson, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or con- <br />tracts for the purchase of the necessary requirements of <br />valves and pipe fittings for the year 1964 for use in the <br />Division of Water. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency mea- <br />sure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section lo That the Director of Public Works ~e and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the purchase of the necessary requirements <br />of valves and pipe fittings for the year 1964 for use in the <br />Division of Water, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders <br />after advertisement according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resoluti6n is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the r~asons stated in the pre- <br />amble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: December 2~ 1963 _ <br /> <br />Rober?
