Messrs. Ward, Wendli~g, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4288 BY: Wllliamson, ~aydos, <br /> Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Usher. <br /> A RESOLUTION commending Philip M. Dearborn for his faithful <br />service to the City of Lakewood as Director of Finance and Clerk <br />of Council. <br /> <br /> WITEREAS, on December 15, 1963, Mr. Philip M. Dearborn will <br />resign from his position as Director of Finance and Clerk of <br />Council of the City of Lakewood, Ohio, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Dearborn performed his duties with efficiency, <br />economy and excellence and has represented the City of Lakewood <br />in an exemplary manner, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the civic and community responsibilities of this <br />position are acknowledged by Mr. Dearborn through his active <br />participation and membership in numerous civic~ municipal and <br />state organizations, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure as Director of Finance and Clerk <br />of Council he has conducted himself in a manner befitting his <br />position of importance in our community, has conscientiously up- <br />held the laws and mores of the community and has made his time <br />and talents at all times available to all city departments, <br />Lakewood Hospital and Lakewood City Council~ <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that in recognition of Mr. <br />Dearborn.s status as an employee, citizen of our community, an <br />excellent, diligent and committed public servant, this Council <br />wishes to express its heartfelt thanks and appreciation for his <br />years of service as Director of Finance and Clerk of Council and <br />wishes him future success in his new capacity, and we adopt this <br />resolution and cause a copy thereof to be spread upon the minutes <br />of this meeting~ and, <br /> <br /> BE Iq FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of Council be and she <br />is hereby directed to transmit a duly authorized copy of this res- <br />olution to Mr. Philip M. Dearborn, 4440 Briarwood Court, South, <br />Annandale, Virginia. <br /> <br />Adopted:, December,l~, 1963 <br /> <br />Approved: December 19,.1963 <br /> <br />Robert M.
