Messrs. Ward, Wendli~g, RESOLUTION NO. 4288 BY: Wllliamson, ~aydos, Huffman, Lawther, Usher. A RESOLUTION commending Philip M. Dearborn for his faithful service to the City of Lakewood as Director of Finance and Clerk of Council. WITEREAS, on December 15, 1963, Mr. Philip M. Dearborn will resign from his position as Director of Finance and Clerk of Council of the City of Lakewood, Ohio, and WHEREAS, Mr. Dearborn performed his duties with efficiency, economy and excellence and has represented the City of Lakewood in an exemplary manner, and WHEREAS, the civic and community responsibilities of this position are acknowledged by Mr. Dearborn through his active participation and membership in numerous civic~ municipal and state organizations, and WHEREAS, during his tenure as Director of Finance and Clerk of Council he has conducted himself in a manner befitting his position of importance in our community, has conscientiously up- held the laws and mores of the community and has made his time and talents at all times available to all city departments, Lakewood Hospital and Lakewood City Council~ NOW~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that in recognition of Mr. Dearborn.s status as an employee, citizen of our community, an excellent, diligent and committed public servant, this Council wishes to express its heartfelt thanks and appreciation for his years of service as Director of Finance and Clerk of Council and wishes him future success in his new capacity, and we adopt this resolution and cause a copy thereof to be spread upon the minutes of this meeting~ and, BE Iq FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to transmit a duly authorized copy of this res- olution to Mr. Philip M.
