RESOLUTION NO. ~332 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Bennett. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION amending Section 1 of Resolution <br />No. 4326 adopted February 17, 1964 declaring it necessary to <br />improve Shaw Avenue in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council by two-thirds vote of the members <br />elected thereto determines that this resolution is an emergency <br />measure which is necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />the public peace, property, health and safety and for the <br />further reason that the improvements hereby expedited are immed- <br />iately necessary to eliminate existing hazards to vehicular <br />traffic using the streets of this City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1 of Resolution No. 4326, adopted Febru- <br />ary 17, 1964, incompletely describes the improvements contemplated <br />by this Council and by the plans, specifications, estimates and <br />profiles on file in the office of the Director of Public Works <br />since prior to February 17, 1964; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council now desires to amend Resolution No. <br />4326 to correctly describe the improvement then and now contem- <br />plated; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by ~he Council Of the City <br />of Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio, three-fourths of all <br />members elected thereto concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 1 of Resolution No. 4326 adopted <br />by this Council on February 17, 1964 be and the same is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 1. That it is necessary to improve in the <br />City of Lakewood Shaw Avenue from Webb Road to the wes- <br />terly terminus and the alleys extending northerly and <br />southerly from said terminus each to its respective <br />terminus, as set forth in Section 2 hereof." <br /> <br /> Section <br />by this Council <br />repealed. <br /> <br />2. That Section 1 of Resolution No. 4326 adopted <br />on February 17, 1964 be and the same is hereby <br /> <br /> Section <br />hereby directed <br />to the Director <br /> <br />3. That the Clerk of this Council be and she is <br />to deliver a certified copy of this resolution <br />of Finance of this City. <br /> <br /> Section <br />be an emergency <br />and immediately <br /> <br />4.
