RESOLUTION NO. 4335 <br /> Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huf£man, Usher, <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for,-the <br />purchase of two packer type trucks, one l~-ton dump truck, <br />and one ash truck (narrow body) for the Refuse Division; <br />one panel type truck (surveying) for the Engineering Divi- <br />sion; one traffic line paint machine, two sewer cleaning <br />machines, and one dump bed and hoist for the Streets Divi- <br />sion; one compact front end loader, one 4-wheel trailer, <br />and one light duty dump truck for the Parks Division; one <br />4-door sedan for the Water Division, Department of Public <br />Works. <br /> <br />Messrs. Wendling, Bennett, <br /> <br /> Ward. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation <br />of the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily <br />operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public works be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a con- <br />tract or contracts for the purchase of two new packer type <br />trucks, one new l~-ton dump truck, one ash truck, one new <br />panel type truck, one new traffic line paint machine, two <br />new sewer cleaning machines, one new dump bed and hoist, <br />one new compact front end loader, one new 4-wheel trailer, <br />one new light duty dump truck, one new 4-door sedanj and <br />for the sale of two used dump trucks, one used ~-ton dump <br />truck, one used ash truck, one used International truck, <br />one used traffic line painter, two used sewer cleaning <br />machines, one used Jeepj and one used Chevrolet, as trade- <br />ins on such new vehicles with the lowest and best bidder or <br />bidders after advertisement according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2~ This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: April,~,6,1964 <br /> <br />John Gaydos, Jr. <br />President <br /> <br />Approved: April.8,1964 <br /> <br />Mary Adams <br /> ' bleak .... <br /> <br />Robert M, ~wther <br /> Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
