RESOLUTION NO. 4340 BY: Messrs. Bennett, Cain, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Usher, Ward, <br /> We~dlin~. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of 10,000 feet of 1¼" threaded wrought iron pipe in <br />20 foot lengths, together with couplings, for the Winterhurst- <br />Lakewood Municipal Skating Rink. <br /> <br /> 'WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of 10,000 feet of 1¼" threaded wrought iron pipe in <br />20 foot lengths, together with couplings, for the Winterhurst- <br />Lakewood Municipal Skating Rink, with the lowest and best bidder <br />after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />b$ an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force in~nediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: April 20~ 1964 <br /> <br />John Gaydos~ J~.. <br />President <br /> <br />Mary Adams Clerk <br /> <br />Approved: ,,ApriI 21~ 1964 <br /> <br />R.
