RESOLUTION NO. 4349 BY: Messrs. Ward, Wendling, <br /> Bennett, Cain, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Usher. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract for the <br />cleaning and cement lining of water mains in Cordova Avenue, <br />Lakeland Avenue, Lakewood Avenue, Mars Avenue, orchard Grove <br />Avenue, Ridgewood Avenue, Rockway Avenue and Rosewood Avenue. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency mea- <br />sure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />hereby is authorized to enter into a contract for the clean- <br />ing and cement lining of water mains in Cordova Avenue, <br />Lakeland Avenue, Lakewood Avenue, Mars Avenue, Orchard Grove <br />Avenue, Ridgewood Avenue, Rockway Avenue and Rosewood Avenue, <br />in accordance with the plans prepared therefor in the office <br />of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best <br />bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the pre- <br />amble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to C~uncil, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:_ <br /> <br />June !.~,,1964 <br /> <br />John Gayd0s, Jr, <br /> President <br /> <br />APPROVED: June 4~ 1964 <br /> <br /> Robert ~.
