RESOLUTION NO. 4371 BY: Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman, Usher, <br /> Wa~d, ~endli~g, Bennett. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and mirecving the <br />Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal <br />and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel <br />number ~15-14-91 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and <br />authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment <br />for the years 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against <br />the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance <br />No. 25-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on <br />March 2, 1964, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered pay- <br />ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- <br />ment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF 0HI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept <br />the sum of $57.76 tendered in payment of the principal and inter- <br />est for the years 1965 through 1968 of special assessment charged <br />against the property described as permanent parcel number 315- <br />l~-91 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County~ Ohio, and <br />l~vied under Ordinance No. 25-64. adopted by the Council of the <br />City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore <br />set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section i hereof, <br />and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby author- <br />ized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1965 through <br />1968 levied under Ordinance No.~25-6~, adopted by the Council of <br />the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964 on permanent parcel number <br />315-14-91 on the County Auditor's records and further described <br />as being Sublot number 23 in the Subdivision of J. T. Newman, <br />each annual assessment being in the amount of $14.~. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is here- <br />by authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of <br />having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council~ it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: October 19~ 1964 <br /> <br />John Gaydos,.
