Huffman, Usher, Ward, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4377 BY: Wendling, Bennett, <br /> Cain, Gaydos. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and <br />directing the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood to adveztlse for bids for the purpose of <br />entering into a contract to obtain for the City <br />a complete payroll system service. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is necessary to provide for the <br />more adequate financial control of public funds of <br />the City, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the present payroll system does <br />not reflect sufficient data to exercise the maximum <br />economy in the operation of the City, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Resolution constitutes an <br />emergency measure providing for the usual daily oper- <br />ation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Finance of <br />the City of Lakewood be authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the purpose of entering into <br />a contract to obtain for the City a complete payroll <br />system service. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby <br />declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons <br />stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immedi- <br />ately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: December 7~ ,1964 <br /> John Gaydos, Jr. <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />Approved:December 10~ 1~64 <br /> <br />Mary Adams <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Robert M.
