RESOLUTION NO. 4381 BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, Wendling, Bennet!t, Gaydos, Huffman. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and in!er- est On special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 311 18,30 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said specmal assessment for the year 1965', WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance 55-60, adopted by the CoUncil of the City of Lakewood on June 20, 1960, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered Day- ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- ment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department;~ now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $14.12 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the year 1965 of special assessment charged against the prop- erty described as~permanent parcel number 311-18-30 on the AUdi- tor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 55-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20~ 1960. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section i hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby author- ized to cancel said special assessment for the year 1965 levied under Ordinance No. 55-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20, 1960 on permanent parcel number 311-18-30~on the County Auditor's records and further described as being Sublot 21 in the Scenic Park Allotment, each annual assessment being in the amount of $14.12. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this res- olution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of hav- ing said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and ap?~Q~al~.y~y ~__~th Mayor.
